Specializing in fingerstyle and classical guitar, Tim’s repertoire spans over 5 centuries – from renaissance music of Spain to contemporary compositions of the 20th and 21st centuries.  Tim blends his love of rock and classical music in the many fingerstyle arrangements of classic rock and pop tunes that he performs.  From the Beatles and The Who to Soundgarden and Green Day, Tim’s arrangements appeal to a broad audience.   In addition to regular performances, he is very active as a guitar instructor.  Tim is on faculty at El Centro College in Dallas, TX where her teaches guitar classes, private lessons, music fundamentals and music appreciation classes.  Tim also teaches guitar lessons and classes in Denton, TX through the Childbloom Guitar Program, and has served as a judge in guitar competitions at Mountain View College in Dallas, TX and Collin College in Plano, TX.

While spending his early days playing in hard rock and heavy metal bands in his hometown of Buffalo, NY, Tim’s desire to learn new styles led him to study jazz and classical guitar.  After earning a Bachelor’s degree in guitar performance from SUNY Fredonia, Tim was awarded a graduate assistantship at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN where he earned his Masters degree in performance.  Tim was awarded a teaching fellowship at the University of North Texas upon entering the Doctor of Musical Arts program.
